Aid climbing at Looking Glass Rock

Aid climbing the Glass Menagerie on Looking Glass Rock is definitely not for the faint of heart, but guarantees adventure.  This is a two day climb that will involve spending the night on the rock.  You’ll experience wild exposure, challenging pitches and a memory that will last a life time.

Looking Glass Rock is home to some fantastic aid routes that ascend the North side.  The classic route is the Glass Menagerie, which features a variety of climbing including challenging aid pitches, roofs and free climbing on the upper pitches.  Experience the thrill of climbing up a huge roof hundreds of feet off the ground.  To make the ascent you’ll sleep on a portaledge enjoying the best views around.
