AMI anchor clinic at the New Rendezvous
Traditional Anchors
AMI will be conducting a free Anchoring clinic at the New River Gorge Climbers Rendezvous. This will be held on May 15th. There will be may other clinics and opportunities to participate in climbing, gear demo and fire side chats. For the anchor clinic, the topics that will be covered are gear placements, what really happens when an anchor is loaded, how to rig different anchor based on the situation and how to rig anchors for top roping, single pitch and multi-pitch climbing. This should
be a fun and informative session for anyone regardless of experience.
